More Info

Keir Harding is an occupational therapist and DBT therapist specialising in mental health, supporting people who use self-harm and recurrently feel suicidal and often have been labelled with a personality disorder.

Keir is currently the CEO and Clinical Lead at Beam Consultancy, and has 20 years experience working in NHS Mental Health services. He uses his growing social media following, along with public speaking, journal articles and print and broadcast media to challenge the dominant thinking and treatment approach for people diagnosed with a personality disorder. Beam Consultancy also provides training for NHS and social care teams. He says:

“Significant complexity often leads to teams and individuals experiencing problems and feeling stuck. We help to facilitate thinking space by those who have worked with and lived with problems identified as extremely high risk. These help to unlock understanding and solutions inherent in the people we work with.”

Keir Harding will speak at the prestigious Elizabeth Casson Memorial Lecture, taking place online in April 2023. You can register for the event here.
