More Info

Mick McEvoy has just returned to live in his native Ireland after living, practicing, studying and serving in ‘Plum Village’, the Zen Monastery/Mindfulness Practice Centre established by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh in Southern France.

Mick managed the ‘Happy Farm’ in Plum Village since 2015. On the 3 acre organic farm Mick has produced seasonal food for the community, trained and educated thousands of guests in mindfulness and organic farming and facilitated the experiment in bringing mindfulness into a working environment. Mick organised and facilitated special Happy Farm Retreats which run annually, bringing together mindfulness, deep ecology and organic agriculture.

Mick is also running conscious queer sexuality circles for people to gather, connect, share and support each other. In all his work, he uses loving speech and deep listening.
