We will be having our wonderful community- be in – and sharing of stories, poem and music – but as an extra gift this year we will have also invited our friends from The Suburban Disco. It will be a sober disco, and like everything at our learning retreats – entirely optional – but we do know Steve and Chris are magic joy bringers … so hope you can join us!
Steve says:
This is us, Steve and Chris, just before the start of a Suburban Disco in Pontcanna. For 12 years we have provided an opportunity for all sorts of people to let their soul come out and play (otherwise known as dancing).
It is not a full-time job, but it is among the best I have ever had.
Chris has been a nurse for over 40 years, and I have had various jobs; accountant, medieval historian and lecturer, soap maker and DJ – which is my favourite.
