Florian has been leading the Maudsley Mindfulness Service at the Maudsley Hospital in London for the last 10 years, teaching mindfulness to colleagues and treating patients with severe depression, anxiety and bipolar with mindfulness-based interventions.
Florian is an investigator on the international multicenter trial of schema therapy for borderline personality. His other research interests span from the unexpected effects of mindfulness meditation to the communalities between the schema model and mindfulness interventions.
